So it's 7:27am and I'm sitting here trying to eat my yogurt so that I'm not all hungry and pathetic when I make it to the office where I work. For some reason, during my traditional morning internet browsing, I got linked into DeviantArt and here I am again. I keep sort of... wandering away from DeviantArt and this account only to be sucked back in by someone randomly linking me to something or Tumblr redirecting me here. And now I have fifteen minutes to type this all out and I'm not wearing my glasses and DeviantArt, I wish I knew how to quit you.

So here's what's up in my life: I finished NaNoWriMo ( ) and now have a vague script that I'm slowly chipping away at. My hope is to have it "finished" by December of next year. I'm also drawing every day, and doing a slightly bigger (and hopefully share-able) project of my choosing about three days a week. I use one of my tumblrs, Katie Does Art Things, to post something artsy at least three days a week. Often they are in-progress pictures of the art, but sometimes they're completed things. Those completed things are what I'll be posting to DeviantArt, since it's too big a pain in the ass to use DeviantArt's upload system for all the things that would just end up going into scraps.

I am balancing this with a part-time job that might as well be 9-5 with my crazy-long commute, as well as the usual smattering of chores and my trying very hard to move out of the house sometime in the next year. I'm also learning how to play the guitar, but that's unrelated. Things I'm interested in right now are my LJRPs and Changeling, as well as a bunch of movies that were really good--so I want to try hopping on the fanart train a little. Aside from that, expect geometry. I freaking love abstract things. Photoshop is kind of... sort of working... so I'm trying to work around that as much as I can right now.
